Record Label and Small Press

It has been close to two years since we moved our print shop into a space we could call our own. It has been indescribably exciting and satisfying to set the place up, get the machines whirring and banging. However, it has been hard to shake the feeling that we've been pulled away from our first love: putting out albums and artist's books. It is with a great sense of pride that we announce the release of three new albums over the next month. Details are forth coming with more to come!

Our curatorial stance is aimed beyond a specificity in genre or style and instead focuses on working with artists who have experimental practices. When prodded for a more detailed response we will admit to having musical interests in the fullness of the acoustic, the brash electric, the intricacy of the programmed, and the formidable improvisation. And drums. We love drums.

In regards to the visual arts, our current fixation is with artist books, which we refer to as trade paperbacks due to a palate for uncoated stocks and hot glue. Some examples of aesthetics we pursue are fine penmanship and obsessively detailed illustrations, grids and their 'aluminum' structures, the weighted abstraction, full frame photographs, philosophically conflicted typography, and knowing when sloppy works. We respect the artist's editorial autonomy, asking only that the work be original and in book form.

All of our titles are manufactured in house.
